I woke up feeling rested
No sirens blared; not a sound
I paused to check my five emails
And here is what I found:
All 8 a.m.’s were cancelled
The buses came on time
Construction finally ended
And parking cost not a dime.
Professors all spoke English
Their tests were tough but fair
Chemistry labs seemed to work out
And help was always there.
It finally had stopped raining,
And Brittain’s food was gourmet
I just couldn’t help but love it…
‘til I realized:
It’s April Fool’s Day!
